We are a certified organic farm, that is family owned and operated. Our 20-acre ranch is located 30 miles east of Sacramento, CA atop the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Our farm is USDA/NOP certified Organic. We are committed work with nature, not against it; to grow clean, wholesome fruit, free from toxic sprays and chemicals. We seek to build healthy soil biology so all our trees have what they need to develop delicious and nutritious fruit. Farming organically is more than a label. It is a way life, the right way to grow the healthiest and most wholesome food possible. For your peace of mind we are committed to nourishing the soil with healthy products that in turn produce healthy fruit. We do not use herbicides and only use organic pesticides as a last resort. That means a lot of mowing, weed-eating and hand-pulling to control weed pressure. We use no synthetic fertilizers. Instead we use compost and other OMRI approved materials to nourish our trees and soil. We brew our own compost tea, made from worm castings. This 'tea' is applied as a foliar spray on the leaves of trees and as a soil drench to stimulate the growth and development of microbial activity in the soil.
